With increased torque comes increased strain. Before tuning:
Make sure your clutch isn’t slipping (test in high gears under load)
DSG/auto gearboxes must shift smoothly with no flaring or delayed engagement
No knocking from driveshafts or diff mounts under load
Check gearbox oil level and condition if service is overdue
Important: If you're going beyond Stage 1 on a manual, consider a clutch rated for higher torque. We can advise or supply options during your build planning.
